Air travel is returning to normal after a volcano eruption in Iceland disrupted traffic at several European hubs. Several church members were stranded by the ash cloud that blanketed Europe and made international travel as difficult as pronouncing the name of the Icelandic volcano — Eyjafjallajökull.
Believe it or not, the Scandinavian island of 317,000 souls is home to a tiny Church of Christ. The church dates back to 2002, when missionary Lynn Camp baptized two people from the capital, Reykjavik. Camp’s wife, Barbara, had taught one of them through World Bible School’s internet program.
I would love to know more about Church of Christ members scattered across the other Scandinavian nations — Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark
